The photographs shown in this volume were produced between 1923 and 1945 and cover topics from personalities, beauties, travel, abstract/environment to ballet and theatre, royalty as well as politicians and images of WWII.

Many of these photographs were taken specially for Vogue Magazine. Several fascinating fashion images are staged in surrealist style. 

This book shows a large number of photos in different settings, of different subjects and many personalities of the time. Quite exceptional in its breadth of topics.
